Tim Draisma spent seventeen years in the Dutch National Police: six as a detective and senior detective, four of those in a specialist burglary investigation team, then sergeant in command and commander of a public-order and rapid-response unit in The Hague, alongside five years adjudicating disciplinary cases for the police union. In 2024 he moved to India as Business Head of a national security and facility management business of some 10,000 staff, and has been on the ground here since. He is a member of ASIS International and is preparing for the CPP examination.
What that career leaves is a way of working: read a situation without taking sides, stay steady while it escalates, and put on paper only what will survive being challenged. Reports set out the reasoning, ground claims in published standards where those apply, and keep what was observed separate from what was inferred.
